I work in the same plaza as this crispers. Its a really nice place, I love their East Coast Chicken and order it all the time. The staff is always friendly, quick, and very helpful. If your looking for a quick bite to eat, i'd recommend checking this place out.

That was unfortunate. Ordered online for a noon pick up. The food was ready at 12:45. The exact time I was supposed to be back at work. I'm not sure anyone even apologized. And we weren't alone. Lots of folks standing around waiting. Had to have a working lunch, which is rarely fun. I had some sort of flatbread salad, which was soggy and not too flavorful. The tomato bisque was delish though! May go back just for soup when I've got time to kill.

highly disappointed. Soup was just ok, very bland. Salad cups are flavor less also. their baked potato wasn't even cooked all the way, it was too hard almost non eatable.

My mother is extremely ill and in the hospital right now. Spirits are low, and I jumped at the chance to make her feel better when she said, "Do you think you can bring me some food from the outside world tomorrow?" This meant that she has an appetite, and I can assist in feeding her body and soul. I would do ANYTHING to make this happen. "How about Crispers?" She said. I called at 9AM this morning, and remarkably, a friendly voice answered. "Are you open?" I asked. The voice explained that they are not open until 10:30 (I believe she said), and that they are prepping prior to opening right now. I explained my mother's situation, and asked the huge favor of possibly ordering a couple of salads for takeout within the next 30 minutes (long before Crispers is even open) under this extenuating circumstance, so that I could get to the hospital in time for the morning meeting with her care team. "No problem at all" the voice said. Then I called back 10 minutes later... did they already make the salads yet? Because I forgot the dietary restrictions my mother had. "No problem at all!" The friendly voice said. I arrived at 9:20AM, and the salads were ready. the dietary restrictions were heeded, and even exceeded (instead of the asiago cheese crackers that my mother would not be able to eat, they had replaced a healthy alternative), and even the chef came out to say "I wish your mother a speedy recovery". Mom gobbled up the entire salad saying, "This (the Summer Salad) is my FAVORITE!!!". I enjoyed the delightful Asian Chopped, and Crispers had thrown in two possible dressing that I might enjoy with it (I opted for the Thai Peanut). The salads were ample, chock full of fresh veggies and fruit (for the Summer Salad), and worth their price-- but my mother's smile? Priceless! A hearty, emphatic THANK YOU to the staff of Crispers. You've made my mother's day and mine as well. Thank you.

Went to this Crispers for lunch a few days ago. It was my first time eating at Crispers. I had always wanted to visit one. I ordered the Pick-a-Pair combo- Smoked Turkey Delight and side salad. Both items were good and fresh. Staff was friendly but not necessarily helpful. The place was somewhat crowded but finding a parking spot wasn't that bad, I didn't mind the walk. If I go back to Crispers it probably won't be at this location. Winter Park Village is very nice but just too busy and crowded all the time.

Crispers is a cute fast food alternative, but be warned it can get a bit pricey. They mainly serve soup, salads, and sandwiches. The Kickin' Crab soup is out of this world! I always opt for a kids meal (depending on the cashier whether they let you have it or not). My favorite of the kiddie specials is the soup meal; bowl of soup of your choice, a drink, and a side for $3.99. What a steal!

My first visit to Crispers Winter Park was eight or nine years ago. I got a Cobb salad to go and took it back to work with me. Little did I know I went there on Food Poisoning Day. A couple of hours later, I barely made it home without embarrassing myself. No thank you! Not again!

I love their salads, but not their price. I normally don't review places like this, but Crispers needs more. They are just too expensive. The food is really good, but I can't justify $11 on a salad and drink at a place like this. I can go to Jason's or Sweet Tomatoes for a cheaper lunch. I like everything I've had here, the soups are hearty and the salads, well, crisp. The toppings on the salads are plentiful and taste just right. I haven't tried any flatbreads or potatoes, but I'd guess they are OK too.

It was ok. I ordered the chicken southwest sandwich and the broccoli cheddar soup. My boyfriend ordered the Cuban sandwich and broccoli cheddar soup. My soup was like baby food and not good at all. I don't recommend the soup at all. The meal came out to $25 which isn't bad but Panera has bigger portions and better quality food for the same price.

Im giving this Crispers 5 stars because everytime Ive been, the service has been great, the food has been very tasty, portions were sizable, and I felt the value was very good as well. This place isnt meant to be a Michelin star restaurant, but for its niche, they do very well so I'm hoping to bring their Yelp rating up a bit! :)

I'm giving Crispers 5 stars. My mother and I usually come here and eat inside. This day I decided I would do curb-side pick up. I called the order in and on my way there it started to pour down rain. As I pulled up, I only waited a few minutes when the Crispers server came out in the rain, handed me my order; took my my card, went back inside, came back out for my signature; while doing all of this in the pouring rain. I can't say enough of how impressed I was that he stood in the rain and waited for me to sign the receipt, with a smile on his face. WOW! Great service all around. You have a customer forever Crispers! Thank you!

Was disappointed with my lunch. Ordered for two, got one order only. Girl was new. I repeated my order twice. She still put one order in.Food came out in 2 minutes.soup was cold and in ugly new plastic dishes. What happened. Bread was stale. I prefer the old " sandwich in a basket "presentation. The manager was nice. He came by to see why I did not have second sandwich I ordered. Ordered loaded potato soups for both. Her soup looked different than mine. I think my order was someone else's reject because soup felt like it was from bottom of pot. At least my sister's order was free since they had made a mistake. Won't be coming back. Food quality is not as good as it used to be.

I work in the area by this Crispers and I almost always go here on my lunch break. The service is always speedy and the employees are always friendly. Not to mention the food is ALWAYS delicious. My favorites recently have been the French Dip sandwich and the classic corned beef sandwich. I love this place! Oh, and one time they also gave me a free t-shirt. That was pretty cool.

Honestly, not a fan. I had never heard of Crisper's before moving to Florida. I expected it to be similar to Jason's Deli or Panera Bread. It kind of reminded me of a hybrid version of Bakers Square (minus the pie). I ordered a flat bread that comes with a salad on top and the bisque soup. The flat bread was literally a tortilla shell which made it difficult to pick up. The soup was okay. The service was SO slow. I waited forever for my food. The lady who checked me out was friendly and apologized, saying they were short staffed. I can't be mad at that, as it's not the staff's fault they don't have enough crew. Corporate needs to get that together though. Short staff = bad customer service and high employee turn-around. Overall, there just wasn't anything special on the menu that made them stand out. I'd probably head to Panera Bread or Chipotle to grab a quick meal rather than returning here.

The 4 stars are pretty much based on the southwest chicken salad w/ jalapeño ranch. there used to be a crispers in long wood but it closed down awhile back. so now we make the trip out to winter park just for the salad. if it wasnt for the salad and dressing I'd give the place 3 stars. The rest of the food is pretty average. From the french dip to some cajun flat bread. ah.. its ok. but not good enough to drive out of our way. most of the staff is friendly. a week ago I got take out and the girl who was working had a heck of a puss on her face. I even left a tip on take out and not even a smirk. its like she just got a phone call from her ex letting her know he has a few stds he didnt tell her about. how ever the guy who brought the food to me was cheerful. but thats how most of the staff is. this was the first time I saw grumpy butt there. the inside is always clean and they offer out side seating in winter park. bonus.. so 4 stars it is.

Dined on a recent Thursday night. Very nice menu selections. I ordered the whole Med. flatbread for $6.99. Very nice, loaded with toppings. Almost could not finish. My wife ordered the Greek salad with a large bowl of very nice soup. Her salad had a nice scoop of potato salad on top, served with a good dressing. Overall experience was very positive. Nice dining room with many seating options and overall very clean. Would go back. Reasonably priced. Good sized portions. Pleasant staff.

Always yummy. Great *real* food for not much. They offer gluten free bread for sammiches, which is awesome, since you can't really get it anywhere else. Soups are good too (although not strictly gluten free, but check with them). I wish they were closer to Kissimmee.

Located a little off the beaten path, as far as shopping Mall goes. The place is clean and pleasant to be in. The service is impeccable but a little slow given the marvels of technology. The images on the marquee are very appealing, leading me to order the Caribbean crab salad. I was not disappointed in the least. The portion was very generous, the ingredients fresh and the platter well presented. Did I mention the food was delicious? The flat bread was a good companion to this entree. Good job crisper keep up the good job.

I stopped in for a late lunch today with my husband. The majority of my dissatisfaction stemmed from the inconsiderate AHOLES who were also dining there: a man with a very thick European accent screaming on his cell phone the entire time we were there, the lady behind me with two screaming toddlers, then she gets up to take one to the bathroom and leaves the other one alone at the booth... Aside from that, not a bad lunch. I ordered the Bistro Vegetable sandwich with no peppers. They actually accommodated me! Normally when I order no peppers they always seem to sneak some in. The sandwich was very delicious and tasty, very fresh. My only complaint was that the bread was a little too crispy and cut the roof of my mouth a little. I like their mango and peach flavored teas, but they are not sweetened so by the time you add all your sweetener in you can't taste the fruit flavors anymore. I HATE that they charge over $2 for fountain drinks. Between my husband and I, our entrees ran around $8 each, plus $2 each for a fountain drink = over $20 for a couple of sandwiches - a little more pricey than I normally like to pay.

Lunch today consisted of southwest chicken salad and chicken club flatbread. This salad is a legit 5 star item I will put up against much more expensive restaurants. The flatbread was okay. Good flavors but overdone and a little dry. Did I mention the southwest chicken salad? PHENOMENAL!

I blame Horn and Hardart. Back in 1888, consumers were looking for good food and prices they could afford. So the concept of the automat was conceived. Today, the same concept seems to be growing in popularity but for different reasons. Today business owners are looking for ways to cut overhead, and the first thing to go are waiters and waitresses. Crispers twist to this concept is slightly different. So you walk up, order your food, sit down with a number on your table, and waiters and waitresses bring it to you. OK, so much for progress I think. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food, though when it was delivered, everything looked "well measured" cafeteria style. My Reuben was a bit watery, and there could have been more meat packed in between the rye bread, and the tiny side order of potato salad served in a paper cup was, well, very Horn and Hardart-like. This like many other places are great for lunch once in a while, but there's nothing special about the fare that would bring me back to it any other time of the day. And besides, who wants to stand up and order dinner anyway, unless you're at Horn and Hardart's?

The best thing to say about this quasi fast food restaurant is that it is clean and so are the restrooms. I have found the prices on the high side for the food that they serve. Maybe they can charge their prices because of their location in Winter Park Village. My wife and I come only if we absolutely have to or simply to give it another try. Always the same. I do like their Margherita Flatbread and my wife likes their soup and sandwiches.

I think the flow is a little confusing when it comes to ordering. Its definitely similar to Panera, but I acutally would rather go to Panera instead. You order at the counter and you grab a number to place at your table where a server will give you your food. I've tried their half greek salad and chicken and wild rice soup. Its pretty basic dishes, nothing that you can't mess up on. I do believe after eating the soup, I was instantly hit with the "itis" (sleepiness and tired). I think it was definitely filled with MSG. The service does seem to take its time clearing tables and messes. I've seen several tables with dishes where workers just completely walk by several times before picking anything up.

The one reason I will never give Crispers more than 3 stars is the prices, outrageous! I hate the fact that society pushes you to eat "healthy" and all the "healthy" options are way over priced. Anyway, sometimes I give in and head over to crispers. Their food is pretty tasty and I love to sit outside - if you haven't guessed already =) Today I got the Crispers Italian sandwich and it was delightful! So much meat and a great green olive pesto. YUM! My friend was like, ummm why are you taking a photo of your food? My response...Yelp...duh! haha. Their french onion soup is always a winner but it was too hot out today to indulge. This location is always packed at lunchtime but they run through the line fairly quickly. It took about 10 min to get our food but I was not in a hurry so I was not bothered. I was very happy with this trip to Crispers!

Just got out of Church and ate here. I had the Southwest Chicken and the Crab Chowder. Both of these were De-lici-ous! My boyfriend had the Crispers Club and the spinach salad. He said the best thing about the sandwich was the pepper bacon. He said it doesnt have the wow factor like the Asiago Beef sandwich. Well I loved my meal and the chowder was very creamy and yummy. It did have alot of corn in there. I wish there were bigger pieces of crab in it as well. In every bite I got corn. Overall, the meal was great for after church and they have some of the freshest ingredients around. Thanks Crispers for another great meal!

I've only had their flatbreads, and I must admit that I really like them. They're not the best flatbreads I've ever had in my life, but it's good enough. The only issue is that they cost me $5 (+ tax) for the half portion which consists of 4 small pieces. It's a little on the pricey side for quality of food that doesn't really scream "awesome!". This particular location is the one I frequent because it's convenient. It's right by the movie theater in Winter Park Village. So if you need to grab a quick bite before a movie without wanting to wait/spend on Cheesecake Factory or any of the other fancy restaurants around, Crispers is right there! The sitting area is also big enough that even when I've gone on a really busy weekday during lunch, there will be seats available by the time we're done ordering and paying.

Stop thinking this place is healthy. It's not. It sounds healthy, it even looks healthy. Not healthy. I've been to three Crispers locations in the Greater Orlando area, this one included. Other than the fact that I am only physically capable of occupying one of them at any given time, they are basically indistinguishable from one another in terms of layout, service, and food. As such, my review for this one mirrors that of the others: Let me tell you what really frustrates/angers me about places like this. It's the *illusion* of serving healthy food. I mean, look through these reviews -- how many of the reviews say "healthy" in them? Now go to their website. Bring up the nutrition calculator and check out some of their items. Trying to find some of the "healthiest" sandwiches they have, I found two veggie sandwiches in their "Cold Sandwiches" selection: Bistro Veggie: 726 calories, 39g fat, 1050mg sodium Grilled Veggie: 710 calories, 36g fat, 1040mg sodium That's with no cheese! Add cheese and the numbers skyrocket from there. Those were the HEALTHIEST sandwiches I could find on their menu. I also looked up the French Dip and the Asiago Beef, two of my favorites from this store. I don't even want to talk about it. I don't know how they do it. How do they pull off this image of healthy food so well, even when they publish their actual figures for all to see? Sure, some of the salads are better (except the Flatbread salads, all over 30g fat and 600-900 calories), but how many people going "Ooh, healthy!" are actually ordering the salad?! Okay, I'm sorry. Stuff like this just gets me riled up sometimes. I just hate the thought of people getting duped into thinking they're eating well, when they aren't. I realize it's not really the fault of Crispers either, because they don't claim "Healthy!" anywhere that I've seen, and they do publish their numbers. But they don't do much to bring attention to them either. Okay, so I'm not rating them on any of that. The food I've had has generally been good. As I said above, I like the French Dip and the Asiago Beef, and I really like the Kickin' Crab Chowder. It is a bit expensive, so I give it three stars. But I'll probably never go back, now that I've seen the nutrition info.

I surprised my husband by stopping by during his lunch hour. We decided to eat at this Crispers for lunch. They turned our little adventure into a horrible situation. One of the reason we chose Crispers is because it's suppose to be relatively fast. My husband had a soup and half a sandwich. I ordered a half order of salad flat bread. After a few minutes of sitting down a server placed my husband's order on the table for him. We were informed that my order will be out shortly. He decided to be a gentlemen and wait for my food before he ate his. After 30mins of waiting, he left to go ask one of the waiting staff when our food would be out since his lunch hour was almost up. It turns out that they had made a full order of what I had order and no one knew who it belonged to. He explained that we had a half order so they just threw out the full order. He then proceeded to ask them an update on our order but the waitress decided to walk away from him mid sentence. I have never had a staff member show us so much disrespect before. We sat back down at our table and debated walking out so he would not be late for work. We had already paid for an overpriced meal and walking out would mean giving them free money. My order finally came at the one hour mark. It didn't take long before I realized it was cold. My husband ended up being late and we left hungry. Thanks for the remarkable customer service, Crispers. I'll make sure to tell my friends.

Right off the bat, I'm caught between 1 and 2 stars for Crispers. Prior to my most recent visit, the last time I've patroned this establishment was about 9 years ago? I purchased a Reuben and thought it was ok. The experience simply didn't register with me and I haven't been back since. For some reason, I've avoided Crispers the last 9 years and can't recall why. Nonetheless, we were looking for lunch last Saturday in the Winter Park Village and Crispers was chosen by acclimation. Upon this decision, I sort of looked around the Winter Park Village looking and developing a case for another place to have lunch. I hesitated to walk into Crispers, not sure why.. but I hesitated. Even so, we saw an interesting banner for a salad and sandwich that coaxed us in. Then I was reminded why I haven't come here in almost a decade. We ordered the Margherita Flatbread, Chicken Almond Salad sandwich and Kickin Crab Soup. When the flatbread hit the table, right away I could tell I was in for a mediocre experience. The food aesthetically didn't look fresh. It looked like it was pre-made and ready to be heated up. As if Crispers stocked up on TV dinners at the supermarket and had it on the ready to serve. It was accompanied by a Tomato Bruschetta Sauce. Meh, again, the little bowl of chopped tomato looked tired and worn. It had this odd syrupy consistency that's unprecedented in my bruschetta experience. The Chicken Pecan Salad sandwich didn't fare much better. I would say it was a step above the Chicken Salad sandwich you can get at 7-Eleven for 2.99! Not fresh, lacking any semblance of life. The only thing decent was the Kickin' Crab soup. The grievance with the soup was the lack of crab. Sad faces all around at our table. Entirely regrettable. Like many other run of mill franchise businesses, the problem is that their food lacks authenticity, freshness and is devoid of a soul. Crispers is largely homogenized food stripped of their essence and passed along as a healthy, fresh plate of food. With these prices, the old maxim of "you get what you pay for" is certainly flawed in it's assertion.

Yawn. According to Google: There are only 2,022 Crisper's locations in Florida. There are 6,366 Red Robin stores in Florida. There are 3,908 Sweet Tomatoes locations in the sunshine state. There are 5,400 Starbucks locations in Florida! Each one is almost exactly the same as all the others. People really seem to like things with which they are familiar. Crisper's, you got some serious catchin' up to do.

Went on a Friday to the Winter Park Village location - after 30 minutes of trying to park I surrender. Mental note for me - don't go near this center on a Friday or Saturday night. Went to the location off of 436. It was not a good experience.

I LOVE Crispers and I'm so sad that the one in Longwood closed. Love this location but parking can be tricky sometimes. Great food selection. I love the flatbreads and salads. They also have the BEST almond cookies I've ever tasted. Definitely treat yourself to one of the small bite-size ones. They are well worth it.

  • Elizabeth S.

I've eaten in at this Crisper's quite a few times and it's actually pretty good. Their food tastes fresh and is consistently good. When they get it right. I was surprised that, even though they have a few veggie options, most of their salads have meat components; and I sadly don't trust them enough to order something without meat and actually get it that way. Part of this mistrust stems from the fact that we ordered out from them (10 items) and 3 of the items they gave us were wrong. So if you order out, make sure to check EVERY item to confirm that they gave you the correct item. Also, if you order for delivery, they give you about 1.5 hour wait time till you get your food, so make sure you order ahead. For a eat-in, this is a great option. For a eat-out, it's nice, but remember to check your food!

  • Justin I.

We are fans of Crispers but they are not as good as it gets. The soups, salads, and sandwiches are solid but we would choose Panera if they were next to each other. The bathrooms are clean and the staff members are friendly. I like that they have ice cream but we never get it because Yogurt Land is too close. They have been there since the opening of the Winter Park Village, which is a good sign and we will continue to support them when we are in the mood for something kind of healthy. All in all, Crispers is good and we don't have any strong complaints. We'll be back soon.

I am a fan of Crispers! What's not to like about their soups (Steak and Chili), sandwiches and flat breads? Plus the decor is kinda cool for a sandwich joint. But do you know what I really like? I LOVE the fact that the crackers ( saltines and capn wafers- ohhh hold me back!) are FREE for the taking right by the soda fountain. Clearly the Crispers people know how to spoil their customers! Oh- and dont forget the "desserts'. Make sure come fall to order a pumpkin shake. Best I've ever had mmmmmmm.

A nice semi-healthy eatery tucked away in the Winter Park Village. They offer a huge assortment of sandwiches, soups and the like. Their sandwiches are good, and not too pricey. The "Downtown" roast beef and turkey on rye is a dang decent sandwich. I tried some kind of Southwest salad once though that I thought was downright awful. The dressing was an abomination (read as: 'blight on humanity'), and the toppings were stale. :( Still, I wouldn't put off getting another salad there someday. Probably something with a normal-ish dressing. They also do these flatbread pizza things, which look interesting and super crispy. I haven't gone there yet. Service isn't bad. You order at the counter, and then they give you this little metal pole with a number at the top. The server finds your table once the food is ready to sail out to ya's. And the place is always pretty crowded when I go, which is a good sign. *Someone said Publix owns Crispers. Fact? Myth? Legend? You decide!

Good food for adults - tomato soup was excellent! Children's meals were unimpressive...mac & cheese was straight out of the kraft box & the cheese pizza was on flatbread, my son wouldn't touch it & he eats everything. Both kids ordered shakes & they were handmade with gelatto & the kids enjoyed every drop of those. Chicken ceasar salad wrap was good, fresh with sliced not processed chicked. Good, for a quick no-nonsense, no frills meal.

This is by far the best Crispers of the others I've been to around town. The only bad thing about it is it's hard to find. This one is in WP Village, around the corner from the surf shop... diagonal from the Cheesecake Factory. Basically impossible to see from any of the main streets or lots in WP Village. Look for it though, it's worth it!

Great for a quick eat that is not deep fried. Their soup/sandwich combos are great. It is like a sit down cafeteria style place. It is always clean, and the large side windows let in a lot of light.

I know that I like cheap, I admit it. But I also eat healthy and if you want to eat healthly it doesn't come cheap. I love Crispers, the flatbread salads, soups and desserts. It costs some change, but you cannot eat crap all the time. Or...you will become crap..

As the name signifies, this restaurant aims to serve you healthier options through veggies, soups and sandwiches as well as the new rage of pizza enjoyment, flatbreads. So instead of visiting one of the more formal restaurants of Winter Park Village, you can swing through Crispers around 730pmand still catch the 8pm movie with no trouble. There are no waitresses, but you are hand delivered your food after ordering, similar to the process at Jason's Deli. On my first trip there, I ordered the SouthWest Chicken wrap and was able to make many changes/substitutions with great ease. They weren't annoyed by my specificity which was nice since I wasn't trying to be bothersome. The food came out quickly since there weren't too many other diners and was actually quite good. It wasn't amazing but well worth the $8 price tag. You are limited to your side choices though, very limited actually. You are given a bag of chips and a pickle and can't swap for anything else. The Chicken Caesar Wrap seemed to be just as good in our group as well if you are drawn to that. They offer cookies and brownies and have an ice cream case stocked with only Publix flavors. A nice and funny way to support the local grocer. They also have a small coffee bar with cappuccinos and lattes hot and cold. The nice girl manning this counter admitted to being new but was nice and filled my order very well. Lots of seating inside and just a few tables outside which is where we sat. It was a nice evening and we enjoyed watching all of the Village goers mill about. Overall I wouldn't scream abut Crispers from the hilltops, but if asked to go again I would without hesitation.

I had a sandwich here but it really wasn't anything to write home about. The service was just kind of 'there' and it took a while to get my food. If you're going to hit a spot in the same category of restaurant you'd be better off at Panera for a better sandwich and nicer atmosphere

Good food, a healthy alternative to the other fast food joints around Full Sail. Unfortunately their speed of service is unpredictable, having had experiences where they've been supremely fast and excruciatingly slow. The uncertainty means you can't really depend on them to be quick when you're on a time crunch. However if you have a few minutes to spare the food is generally worth it.
